Epic day today in Hevron – First Torah reading in the Ancient Synagogue in over 900 years! Made possible by Aish4AEPi, the Rabinowitz Family, the Prell Family, the Gottesman Family, the Bieda Family and tons of volunteers over the past few years!
Hevron, a lot of hard work, and also a visit to the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Rachel’s Tomb.
After the recent horrific terrorist attack in Neve Tzuf, we wanted to get out here and show some support, and we’re the Jerusalem Heritage House, so that’s what we did!

Ain’t no rain gonna keep us from going and strengthening the Jewish Presence in Hevron! We put down the final pieces of turf at the outdoor study area in Hevron today. Still need to dig alot more, but it looks great!
Dug a drainage trench for a new residence outside of Kfar Tapuach today in the Shomron. Also did some serious weeding in the vineyard.

Had a great tour of the Old City today, including the “Kotel HaKatan” and the “Ohel Yitzchak” Synagogue, with one guest, while the others helped build a pioneering family a new bathroom!
Visited, showed support, donated Jewish books and worked hard in Neve Tzuf and Amona today.
We visited the recently attacked community of Neve Tzuf today; donated clothes, saw the damage and saw the Kiddush Hashem of how much clothes and supplies people have sent to help those who lost their homes. Neve Tzuf will only grow stronger and stronger!!!
Last night, we helped a Jewish Family return to a portion of a property that Jews were forced to flee from 80 years ago. They are the newest Jewish Family in the “muslim quarter” of the Old City of Jerusalem. But not for long, many more to come!
Guests olive picking! This place is going to be beautiful for the newly-married couple when renovations are completed! Guests have fun times climbing the tree to get to the olives and Dancing too!
First trip to Hevron of the new Jewish year – New seats for ancient synagogue, new mezuzah for new property, and more big rocks moved – helluva way to start the new year!!!

With your support and encouragement, we are continuing to do amazing things this summer at the Jerusalem Heritage House! Possibly the two biggest challenges facing the Jewish people today are creating strong Jewish personal identity among our youth and combating the global anti-Israel/BDS bias.
Every trip to Hevron is AMAZING!!! Heritage House took our guests from our free hostel in the old city to Hebron to experience the city there. we also worked on our project, renovating an ancient Synagogue.

We had an AMAZING Shavuos holiday at the Jerusalem Heritage House. Packed house with “lone soldiers” and Birthright Israel extenders, various Jewish educational opportunities throughout the Old City, festive dairy meal, and prayers at the Kotel HaKatan (the “Little Western Wall).
We have had an AMAZING Birthright season, hosting tons and tons of guests! Giving constant tours, classes and advice (beds, food, HEAT, and clean laundry) to so many that stuck around to see more of what Israel and Judaism have to offer. At the same time, we did not neglect our dear “lone soldiers” and our various projects to strengthen the Jewish Presence in the Land of Israel. Whether it was raining, snowing or sunny – we made every day count!
Rabbi Ben Packer, director of the Jerusalem Heritage House, Brings more guests to Hebron the city of the Patriarchs. We toured the community there, visited our “Lone Soldiers” that keep us safe, and worked on our project of excavating an ancient Synagogue .
